I have to start this off with sharing that RailCats clinched their playoff spot tonight! Not without some dramatics of course. They were leading 4-0 when out of nowhere (the radar showed we were clear) it started thundering, lightning, and within minutes downpouring. After the rain delay it was suddenly 4-4. They ended up winning in extra innings 6-5! Bring on the playoffs!
Now, back to the cool wall arrangement I delivered to Julie and Troy this last week. The big black and white image is a 36×24. I have to say that it could be one of my all time favorite prints. I can’t wait to go back and see it all framed up and hung. I love when I get to help my clients out with their wall arrangements!

We’re waiting around now to pull the tarp on the field. When Mitch and I moved out here we heard only how miserable the summers are because they get so hot and humid. I experienced a little bit of it when I was in eastern Nebraska so I wasn’t completely scared. Well, minus two or three days, we haven’t really experienced that. Everyone keeps telling us how uncharacteristic it is for the area.
Last weekend Mitch and I got the chance to head back to Colorado. While there we didn’t see hardly any sun. Anyone who knows Colorado knows that there aren’t many overcast days, at least not ALL DAY overcast days. It rained on some of our plans, but I did at least get the chance to shoot a few shots of a storm coming in out in Sedgwick out first night in town. I forgot how freaky it can be to see a cloud swirl… can’t say I missed that.

A couple weeks ago Mitch and I got the chance to go see Sheryl Crow at Ravinia (a really cool venue north of Chicago). Through her music she speaks out about a lot of her stances. I don’t agree with all of them, but I love when artists use their work to speak out. Even more I like when they really do something about their causes. This morning I got an email saying that if you get three people to register to vote through Rock the Vote, that Sheryl is going to give you her new album. So, click on the image below to go to Rock the Vote and register. I’m still looking for my three to get her album, so if you want to help me out either leave a comment with your email address or shoot me an email at anna@annalynchmcclary.com. More than anything though, just make sure you vote! It really is that easy!
I’ll be back later to post up some new images!

I have to start this post out with some good news and bad news. The bad news… it’s almost 11 here and the game just got over not too long ago. The good news… The RailCats won which puts them one game from clinching a playoff spot!
Anyway, even better news is that I have a few more shots from Rachelle and David’s wedding. I hope you enjoy!

The way that David looks at Rachelle really just melted my heart. I have a few more images of him that you can just really see how much he loves her in his eyes.

Ever since my own wedding I can’t make it through a father-daughter dance with dry eyes. This one would have been absolutely impossible. I don’t think there were too many dry eyes in the room after this one.

David’s mom was just beaming throughout their entire dance.

Shorty and David, thank you again for letting me play such an important role in your day!

I had already planned to fly back to Colorado for one of my college teammate’s weddings, however when Rachelle asked me to shoot it, I was beyond excited. The wedding didn’t disappoint. How could it with a setting like Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
This is only part one of what I’m going to blog for their wedding shots because I have so many favorites. So, you’ll have to check back tomorrow to see more. Shorty, thanks so much for being so patient with me on these, I hope you guys enjoy them!

David and Rachelle got some perfect Colorado weather that came with some bright blue, beautiful skies.

I asked David what kind of car Shorty would be arriving in so that I could keep an eye out. When he told me that she was coming in a classic Cadillac I couldn’t wait for her to come around the curves. It kind of set the mood for me on a lot of the images. It just gave everything such a classic and vintage feel.

Doesn’t she look like she could be an old Hollywood actress here?

I really don’t think her Dad could have been more proud or excited for her.

This could be my absolute favorite image of the day. I can’t look at it without smiling. Everyone’s expressions just take you back to the moment.

Make sure to check back tomorrow for more images!

Where did my life summer go? Seeing as how it’s been a long while since I last posted, you can probably guess that I underestimated the time that I would spend at the ballpark. Although I haven’t had much, or really anytime this summer, I have kept shooting. The nice thing has been that besides the daily baseball shoots, I have been making an effort to shoot more for myself. I’ll slowly share some of those images now that I am getting closer to having my life back.
However, this should not come as a shock that the only images I have handy right now are baseball shots. Here is one that I got when Mitch, my friend Maribeth, and I drove up to Canada for the Northern League All Star Game. It worked out that the guys were playing in Fargo the day before, so we stopped there first.
